8 Killed in Calamba, Laguna

Not another one!!!

But yes, a couple of days after I reported that 9 people were killed in a bank robbery in Laguna, now 8 more are reported killed, including four children, and wounded 6 others in a remote village in the town.

The occurrence was estimated between late Sunday and early Monday.

A report by Inquirer news, "An initial investigation showed that the gunman went amok and began a shooting spree in Barangay (village) Urnalan in Calamba shortly after midnight, said Chief Superintendent Ricardo Padilla, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police director."

I am sure that the place is a coincidence, but why the waste of human lives there? I strongly condemn these killings. We have no right to take other people's lives, even that of our enemies. The Bible says that we should even bless our enemies. If ever people owe us anything, we have a law that covers that.

God forgive us. Forgive this nation. God restore the Philippines and let righteous prevail.
